 Row New Jersey Athlete Training Program
How will you prepare for Spring?

 

An intense land-based conditioning program designed to prepare athletes for successful spring competition. This takes place at an indoor/outdoor gym facility.
 
The daily sessions consist of running, weightlifting, frequent use of the ergometer and other organized program workouts (ex: yoga, resistance) to increase strength, stamina, stability, and overall performance.

4:00- 6:00 pm Monday - Friday
(boys & girls teams same practice times)

Located on the second floor of the Lautenberg building , near A-Money AllStarz
 
Who can join?  Girls & Boys Teams, prospective and returning 8-12th competitive racers and coxswains.

Masters participants have an opportunity to participate in a two morning training program.  Contact Davison@RowNJ.org for more details. 

Winter Fee: $600  No pro-rated pricing available. 3 payment option is available at registration checkout. 

Masters Winter Training

Row New Jersey offers a winter training opportunity for our adult masters rowers to train together focusing on ergometer conditioning. 

Winter Training 2023-2024

Meeting Times:   Tuesday & Thursday  6:15-7:15 pm 

Start Date: Tuesday, December 5th

End Date:  Thursday, February 29th 

Tuition: $250

From 287

From Route 287
Take route 287 to exit 39 (Route 10 East). Go through the first traffic light, which is North Jefferson Rd., and Turn right onto Metro West Rd (road right before Nikko's Japanese Restaurant). Turn left after the security guard gate, drive around to the main parking lot, and come through the front entrance of the building. Take the stairs up to the second floor. 

If traveling 10 East

Take 10 East past the entrance to Route 287. Go through the first traffic light, which is North Jefferson Rd., and look for Blue Swim Quest sign- turn right onto Metro West Rd (road right before Nikko's Japanese Restaurant). Turn left after the security guard gate, drive around to the main parking lot, and come through the front entrance of the building.  Take stair to second floor. 

If traveling from 10 west

From Route 10 West 
Take 10 West to the North Jefferson Road Jughandle, which is right before the entrance to Route 287. Take the Jefferson Road jughandle and get on Route 10 East.  Look for blue Swim Quest sign-Turn right onto Metro West Rd (road right before Nikko's Japanese Restaurant). Turn left after the security guard gate, drive around to the main parking lot, and come through the front entrance of the building. Take stairs to the second floor.
